Halo 2 teleporters! Tags! Released!
Well, after many requests about the tags, figured it was time to release these.
Originally worked on my Nitrousoxide, I've totally redone the Halo 2 teleporter bitmaps and shaders, and have made my own variations on them. As you can see... they turned out quite nicely. Also.. these work on low-end graphics cards, with very little impact on FPS! They appear almost exactly the same as on high-end cards, although one map was removed from the shader (the "dust" effect).
But wait! How do you use these tags? There's a certain trick;
First, extract this archive DIRECTLY into your Halo Custom Edition folder, make sure to overwrite any existing tags. They will automatically be placed in the proper locations.
The scenery tags you will be using are located in "tags\scenery\h2teleporter".
When placing these in Sapien, you must place TWO scenery objects in the exact same location; make one of them the "base" of your choice, and the other the "h2_teleporter_exit" of your choice. The bases and teleporters are named as such;
Teleporters
Original(h2_teleporter_exit)
White
Blue
Bluegreen
Bluegreen2
Bluepink
Firered
"Lastone"
Magenta
Orange
Orangepink
Original Remix
Purple Blaze
Rainbow-Type 1
Rainbow-Type 2
Randomness 2 (Don't ask where 1 went =x)
Red
Ultraviolet
Violet (Yes, I know it's pink...)
Rainbow-Autochange
Automatically changes colors! Cycles through the entire color spectrum in about 45 seconds.
(Not pictured is the "entrance" version, this is the original shader with the spinning top, like in Coagulation or Bever Creek. Scenery tag is still included, however you will need to move it up on the Z axis manually when placing it.)
Bases
Original(h2_teleporter_base)
White
Blue
Cyan
Orange
Pink
Purple
Red
Enjoy the tags! I hope to see good use put to them. Please do remember to jot in some credit if you get the chance ^^; Also, if you do use them, post in the thread on Gearbox (http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=57007) to show off how they look in your map!
If you want any custom colors, give a shout. If I like the idea I'll make it and update the archive posted on the Gearbox thread so you, and others, can use the tags.
